Visitors to the Los Angeles International Auto Show will be among the first to see the highly anticipated all-electric Wheego LiFe this November.

The LiFe can reach speeds of up to 65 mph, and has a range of about 100 miles on a single charge. It qualifies for a $7500 federal tax credit, as well as other state tax incentives—including a $5000 state tax incentive in California.

According to Wheego, the LiFe is in production now and will also be delivered to dealers and drivers in a few weeks. The Smart Car look-alike car is equipped with driver and passenger airbags, anti-lock brakes, air conditioning, and power windows and locks. The 115V lithium battery pack can be charged from a standard 120V outlet, a 240V outlet or any of the J1772 standard charging stations being installed across the U.S. “We think they [consumers] will be delighted and intrigued with the LiFe’s spacious interior, standard equipment and overall design,” said Jeff Boyd, Wheego president.
